SDC222; At the movies

Corrie had quite a challenge for us this week. Create a stamped project inspired by a  movie or a movie star.

I had wanted to use my little Phoebe Doo stamp of my precious Labradoodle.  She reminds me of the Old English Sheepdog I had as a child and the large shaggy pooch in the Doris Day film "Please
Don't Eat the Daisies."

I stamped Phoebe with Memento ink on a piece of cardstock and masked the image.  I also created a mask with Post-it Notes to maintain a white border.  Flower Block  was stamped and repeated in the background.   Carol's Flower, small was stamped three times on another piece of cardstock.  The image and background was colored with Copics in a very painterly style and accented with Wink of Stella pens.

The three additional flowers were cut and attached with Liquid Nails to raise off the card.  I used a Copic Multiliner to create some contrast to the border.

The title was printed on my computer and also attached with Liquid Nails.

So pick some movie inspiration and join us in Corrie's challenge and a chance to win a gift certificate to your wish list stamps!
